This is a real style cabbie, it is a fuller shape cap than many modern pub cap styles or driving caps. Please note that we consider this cap a medium full shape. It is not as full of material as a big apple cap.
This fine cap is made of a mixture of linen and cotton. The exact material makeup is 45% Linen / 55% Cotton. This blended material keeps all the great properties of linen (lightweight, durable) and adds some of the top qualities of cotton as well.
This cap features an elasticized sweat band, which should aid in a comfortable fit.
Important notes: As with any cap containing cotton or linen, this cap can be flattened and somewhat wrinkled during shipping. In order to fix your newsie cap, just boil a pot of water and hold the cap over the steam for 1 minute. Steam will loosen and relax and wrinkling, and it will also allow you to shape the cap material in the fashion that you desire.
